PHOtos wanted

Visitors to Pinnacle Peak Park had a special treat this year to celebrate AZ Statehood Day. Alice, a volunteer at the park, shared her in-depth knowledge of the AZ state symbols including flower, mammal, dinosaur, bird, butterfly and many others. Also, visitors received an AZ state quarter provided by Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park.

Scottsdale Crossfit peeps to the rescue!

A BIG THANK YOU to the folks at Scottsdale CrossFit who helped us by carrying 120 lbs. of concrete and water just past the one mile marker to assist the trail maintenance crew.  Luke and Andy also helped by carrying jugs of water and divided the concrete into buckets.  Thanks to Jeff who helped to organize the “brawn” by emailing everyone asking for assistance.  They are a really great group who are ALWAYS helpful and accommodating when we ask for assistance! We are so lucky they are a part of our PPP regular community!!
