Annual Breakfast fund raiser

The non-profit organization Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park invites all of our friends, families, and the community to breakfast on Saturday Feb 28, 2015, with an old-fashioned pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11:00 am at the Pinnacle Peak trail head ramada.

The Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park will serve up freshly made pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, and beverages.  The meager cost for this great breakfast will be $10.00 with proceeds going to the maintenance and improvements at the Pinnacle Peak Park.

Annual Breakfast fund raiser

To all of our Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park, we are going to try something a little different this year.  We are going to bring breakfast to you.

On Saturday, February 28 2015, 7:30AM to 11:00AM,  we will be offering our annual Fundraiser Breakfast at Pinnacle Peak Park in the Ramada.

The  non-profit organization, Friends of Pinnacle Peak will serve up freshly made oatmeal with  a sumptuous selection of toppings, fresh fruit and beverages.  This trailhead delight will be offered for the  meager tax deductable donation of $10.00 for adults and $ 5.00 for children 12 and under.

The President Emeritus of Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park and Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park founder,  Morrie Chernis, is excited about this year's event , “We are excited  to be able to have our Annual Breakfast Fundraiser at Pinnacle Peak Park' Ramada and to have the opportunity to offer this great fundraising event to more Park users.  All of the Park's volunteers' efforts  would not be possible without the donations from our local community and friends who love The Park as much as we do.  We hope that all of the Park's friend take advantage of this fundraiser and donate for a yummy breakfast!"

This fundraising event will help support the Friends’ proposed capital improvement campaign. Improvement projects that will be taking place in the near futures at the Park  include: information kiosks, new benches with additional seating elements and enhance interpretative signage.  We will also be working toward an expanded enclosed storage area to the south of the current Office area. 

The Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park is a group of local residents tasked with the mission to assist in maintaining the wonderful character of the Park, and to support improvements and educational activities through fundraising efforts.  The Friends of Pinnacle Peak, a non-profit organization separate from the City of Scottsdale, is established to accept donations for Park programs, preserve the Park, recognize volunteers and host various educational activities.

Everyone is welcome to join us to celebrate our great Park, a fun meal and great time!
